The Pisa coast line

A little more than 10 km's from Pisa, the Pisa coastline offers residents and tourists equipped beach resorts, camping areas, hotels, restaurants, fun parks, sports fields and clubs.

From the North to the South - from the coastline of the Nature Park of San Rossore, Migliarino, Massaciuccoli, to the uncontaminated beach of Marina di Vecchiano and the beach resorts of Marina di Pisa and Tirrenia.
Marina di Pisa is the oldest area of the beach resorts as it dates back to the end of the Nineteenth century and the beginning of the Twentieth. The Tirrenia was born a short time afterwards, in the Thirties of the Twentieth Century.
The main access road to the coast is Viale d'Annunzio, in honour of the poet Gabriele d'Annunzio who used to own a house by the sea in Marina di Pisa.
